It's no secret that My Little Pony has inspired a massive following of both kids and adults, male and female. Sadly, it's also no secret a lot of people get bullied, shamed, or classified simply because of something they like (MLP or otherwise). It's always been there (to some people Trekkie is still a dirty word) and the unfortunate truth is it likely always will be. It doesn't excuse the behavior of bullying, though. I don´t want to hear obscenities, especially about certain topics: old age, anyone´s weight or supposed ugliness, mental illnesses and other mental conditions or children and youth suffering from abuse called euphemistically as bullying. Purity is "the condition or quality of being pure; freedom from anything that contaminates, pollutes etc" and "freedom from guilt or evil; innocence." That´s the point of my page. This is opposite of cesspool called Encyclopedia Dramatica.

My favorite color is red. Not tomato juice red, but rich velvet, wine, rubies...

Bullying is mental and physical violence which can cause PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) . PET scans of bullied children resemble PET scans of combat veterans and victims of wars. Constant fear and pain is brain-damaging.

I have favorited some works featuring language I dislike because I agree the opinion expressed in the work.

In the praise of older women?

Nattering of the day:  Being older woman and enjoying classic monsters is a thorny love affair, quite frankly.  Woman´s value in  fiction from "good old days" is completely in her youth and beauty.    I was reading Finnish folktales where men and young girls were good, all middle-aged and older  women  were evil -  abusive wives, murderers because they were spinsters (no, really!), doomed to Hell, witches. One of them showed especially  Freudian scatological projection,  a repulsive gutter fantasy  in the long tradition of  Old Witch stories and stereotype.  Worse,  this idea  of "ugly," middle-aged or old woman as a punishable monster

Ah, the stigma! Typical example of True Scotsman is  "No sane person would do that" when a person who has no mental illness does something depraved and filthy, is a criminal  or offers disagreeable  opinion: political, religious, etc.   For example "Religion is mental illness/theists are delusional/crazy etc" are typical slurs, attacking an opinion - religion - by  mocking unpopular and vulnerable minority in the process.  Fictional criminals are ALWAYS  "psychos". In hot waters

"You are not hot, you are fat!" Someone sent this message to a young woman in the net.  There was nothing shocking or untrue in it, she was fat. And there´s nothing wrong with it! However, it made me think - what kind of compliment is "hot"? Temperature is hot, water is hot, food is hot... Hey, here´s lovely compliments: beautiful, classy, elegant, pure, sweet... But "hot"? Does not sound much of a compliment, sorry.
